Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Electrical Engineer role based in Kuwait City. The Electrical Engineer will design, review, and implement electrical systems for residential, commercial, and industrial construction projects, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations. Daily responsibilities include preparing and reviewing electrical drawings, load calculations, and power distribution layouts; coordinating with civil, mechanical, and MEP teams; and supporting procurement with technical specifications for electrical materials and equipment. The role involves monitoring installation activities on site, conducting inspections and testing, resolving technical issues during execution, and supporting commissioning and handover. The Electrical Engineer will also contribute to safety, quality assurance, and continuous improvement of electrical engineering practices across projects. Qualifications • Candidates should possess strong skills in Electrical Engineering and Electricity fundamentals, with the ability to apply them to building and infrastructure projects. • Candidates should possess experience in Electrical Design, including preparing drawings, schematics, and load calculations for various project types. • Candidates should possess knowledge of Power Distribution and Power Systems, including medium- and low-voltage networks, panels, and protection systems. • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field. • Experience in construction or MEP contracting, preferably within residential, commercial, or industrial projects. • Familiarity with relevant international and local electrical codes and standards. • Proficiency in engineering and design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools) and MS Office. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and coordination skills, with attention to safety and quality. • Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on site. • Professional certifications or membership in engineering bodies are an advantage.
