Electrical Project Engineer

Job Purpose: • To review, evaluate, and develop electrical engineering designs, drawings, and technical specifications to ensure compliance with applicable electrical codes, safety standards, and project requirements. The role supports electrical planning, load calculations, technical evaluations, and site inspections to ensure the effective implementation of electrical systems across new projects, renovations, and facility modifications. Key Responsibilities & Technical Skills: • Review and evaluate electrical drawings, designs, and technical specifications. • Perform electrical load calculations and load distribution analysis. • Prepare and modify electrical drawings using AutoCAD or other relevant engineering software. • Review electrical layouts, single-line diagrams (SLD), and power distribution systems. • Evaluate electrical requirements for new projects, renovations, and facility modifications. • Prepare technical assessments, electrical BOQs, and material specifications. • Ensure compliance with applicable electrical codes, safety standards, and project requirements. • Coordinate with contractors and consultants to review electrical designs and resolve technical issues. • Support site inspections and verify electrical works against approved drawings and specifications. Position Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent qualification. • 2–3 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering, design review, or facilities and project engineering. • Proficiency in AutoCAD and relevant electrical design software. • Knowledge of electrical load calculations, power distribution systems, and single-line diagrams. • Familiarity with electrical codes, safety standards, and engineering specifications. • Ability to review technical drawings, prepare BOQs, and evaluate electrical materials and equipment.
