Project Engineer / Civil Engineer

Role Description The Project Engineer / Civil Engineer will support planning, design, and coordination of civil works related to Drink Default’s facilities and site development in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This part-time hybrid role combines on-site visits with work from home, including reviewing design plans, assisting with site layout, and contributing to infrastructure and utility planning. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and reviewing civil engineering drawings, supporting stormwater and drainage solutions, coordinating with contractors and consultants, and monitoring project progress for quality and compliance with local regulations. The role also involves performing basic calculations, documenting design decisions, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure engineering solutions align with operational needs and brand standards. Qualifications • Civil Engineering and Civil Engineering Design skills, with the ability to interpret drawings and specifications. • Stormwater Management and Site Development skills for drainage, grading, and infrastructure planning. • Quality Control skills to support inspections, verify work against standards, and maintain documentation. • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field. • Knowledge of local building codes and regulations in the United Arab Emirates. • Proficiency with relevant civil design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D or similar). • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to work independently in a hybrid environment. • Prior experience in site or industrial facility development is an advantage.
