Role Description The Site Civil Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Abu Dhabi, responsible for overseeing civil works for swimming pools, water features, landscaping structures, and related outdoor infrastructure. The role includes supervising construction activities, ensuring compliance with design specifications, standards, and safety regulations, and coordinating with project managers, architects, and subcontractors. The Site Civil Engineer will review drawings, prepare work schedules, monitor material usage, and support quality control throughout each project phase. Daily tasks involve site inspections, resolving technical issues, updating progress reports, and supporting project planning and sequencing. The role also includes liaising with clients and internal teams to ensure timelines, budgets, and quality requirements are met. Qualifications • Strong foundation in Civil Engineering and Civil Engineering Design, with the ability to interpret and implement engineering drawings and specifications. • Experience working as part of Civil Engineers teams on site, coordinating with multidisciplinary stakeholders and managing daily construction activities. • Competence in Planning, scheduling, and resource allocation for civil works, including progress tracking and reporting. • Knowledge of Stormwater Management and drainage solutions relevant to outdoor spaces, pools, and water features. • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field. • 2–5 years of site engineering experience, preferably in swimming pools, landscaping, or outdoor construction projects. • Familiarity with UAE building codes, local regulations, and health and safety standards. • Proficiency in engineering and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD) and basic project management tools. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work in a multicultural team environment. • Ability to work full time on site in Abu Dhabi, with flexibility to visit other emirates as project needs arise.
