Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates for a Design Structural Civil Engineer at HIGH QUALITY HEALTH CONSULTANCY. The role involves designing and reviewing structural and civil engineering solutions for healthcare facilities, ensuring compliance with Dubai and UAE healthcare and building regulations. Responsibilities include preparing design drawings and calculations, supporting site planning and layout, contributing to stormwater and drainage management solutions, and coordinating with architects, MEP engineers, and regulatory authorities. The Design Structural Civil Engineer will participate in technical reviews, support tender documentation, and provide engineering input for facility setup, renovations, and expansions. The role also requires monitoring construction activities for design adherence, preparing technical reports, and collaborating closely with internal teams and clients to deliver safe, compliant, and efficient healthcare environments. Qualifications • Candidates should possess strong Civil Engineering Design skills, including structural analysis, design of foundations and framing systems, and preparation of detailed engineering drawings. • Candidates should possess core Civil Engineering expertise, with a solid understanding of engineering principles, codes, and standards relevant to healthcare and commercial facilities. • Candidates should possess Planning skills, including site planning, facility layout coordination, and integration of structural design with architectural and MEP requirements. • Candidates should possess Stormwater Management skills, including drainage design, flood mitigation strategies, and compliance with local infrastructure and environmental regulations. • Candidates should possess experience as Civil Engineers in the UAE or GCC region, with familiarity in DHA, MOH, HAAD, DHCC or comparable regulatory frameworks considered an advantage. • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering (Master’s degree is an advantage). • Proficiency in relevant design and modeling software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, ETABS, SAP2000, STAAD or similar), and strong MS Office skills. • Knowledge of local and international building codes and standards (e.g., UAE regulations, ACI, AISC, BS/Eurocodes). • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and
