Structural Engineer

We are looking for a Structural Engineer to join our construction team in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have at least 2–3 years of hands-on structural engineering experience in the UAE, with strong knowledge of structural design, site execution, drawings, inspections and coordination with consultants and contractors. The candidate should be comfortable working in a construction/project environment and be able to coordinate effectively with site teams, consultants and other disciplines. Key Responsibilities - Review and interpret structural drawings, specifications and technical documents. - Monitor structural works at site to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications and project requirements. - Coordinate with consultants, contractors and site teams regarding structural works. - Conduct site inspections and identify structural issues or discrepancies. - Review structural calculations, shop drawings and method statements where required. - Coordinate structural design requirements with architectural, MEP and other disciplines. - Provide technical support to the construction team during execution. - Identify and resolve structural issues arising during construction. - Monitor the quality and progress of structural works. - Assist with preparation and review of RFIs, technical submissions and other project documentation. - Ensure structural works are executed in accordance with applicable UAE standards, approved drawings and project specifications. - Participate in meetings with consultants, contractors and project stakeholders. - Maintain proper documentation and records related to structural works.
