Welding Supervisor

Mutriba Trading Company is looking for an experienced Welding Supervisor based in Kuwait to lead wellhead and field welding in our workshop and at rig sites on a KOC project. What you'll do • Supervise offline wellhead welding in the workshop and installation welding at drilling/workover rigs • Lead general field welding: structural, piping modifications and equipment repairs, including emergency call-outs • Make sure all work follows approved OEM WPS/PQR, project specs and API / ASME / AWS standards • Oversee fit-up, joint prep, preheat and PWHT where required • Coordinate VT, NDT (RT, UT, MT, PT) and pressure testing • Maintain full traceability, including weld logs, NDT reports, welder certs and final documentation packages • Coordinate with rig operations and Company representatives • Enforce HSE: JHAs before every job, PPE, fire watch and confined-space gas monitoring What we're looking for • Currently in Kuwait with valid residency / transferable visa • 3+ years of welding supervision in oil & gas, wellhead experience preferred • Strong knowledge of WPS/PQR, NDT methods and welding codes • Valid certifications (CSWIP 3.1 / AWS CWI or equivalent) • KOC experience, site passes or HSE training is a strong plus • Available for planned work and call-outs To apply, send your CV to [email protected] with the subject: Welding Supervisor – [Your Name]
