• Software / Computer Science Engineer • Location: Dubai, UAE • Employment Type: Full-Time • Job Summary • We are looking for a Software / Computer Science Engineer to design, develop, test, and support software applications and technology solutions. • The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in computer science, programming, problem-solving, and software development principles, with the ability to work closely with technical and business teams. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications and systems. • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code. • Analyse business and technical requirements and translate them into software solutions. • Troubleshoot application issues, identify root causes, and implement fixes. • Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, and deployment activities. • Work with databases, APIs, integrations, and backend/frontend systems as required. • Support system enhancements, upgrades, and performance improvements. • Collaborate with product, engineering, QA, and business teams. • Maintain technical documentation and development records. • Follow software development standards, security practices, and coding guidelines. • Support continuous improvement and adoption of new technologies. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Application Development, Information Technology, or related field. • Good knowledge of programming and software development concepts. • Experience with one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, JavaScript, C++, or similar. • Understanding of databases, SQL, APIs, and system integrations. • Knowledge of software development lifecycle and testing methodologies. • Familiarity with Git or other version-control tools. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Good communication and teamwork abilities. • Exposure to cloud technologies, DevOps, Agile/Scrum, or CI/CD will be an advantage.
