Contract Software Engineer

Job Title: Software Engineer (3–5 Years Experience) Location Abu Dhabi Employment Type Contract Duration: 2–3 months Job Summary We are looking for a skilled and motivated Software Engineer with 3–5 years of professional experience in full-stack web application development. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in modern front-end technologies such as React, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, along with experience developing RESTful APIs using ASP.NET and C#. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, test, and maintain scalable web applications that deliver high-quality user experiences. Experience with low-code/no-code application platforms will be considered an added advantage. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain responsive web applications using React, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. • Build, enhance, and maintain RESTful APIs using ASP.NET and C#. • Collaborate with UI/UX designers, product managers, and other developers to deliver high-quality software solutions. • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following established coding standards and best practices. • Integrate front-end applications with backend services and third-party APIs. • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance. • Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes. • Develop unit and integration tests to ensure application quality and reliability. • Maintain technical documentation and support application deployments. • Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend improvements where appropriate. Required Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. • 3–5 years of professional software development experience. • Strong proficiency in: • React.js • JavaScript • HTML • CSS • Solid experience in developing RESTful APIs using ASP.NET and C#. • Experience with relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server. • Good understanding of software design principles, object-oriented programming, and REST architecture. • Familiarity with version control systems such as Git. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications • Experience with low-code/no-code development platforms (such as Microsoft Power Platform, Kissflow, or similar). • Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure. • Familiarity with authentication and authorization mechanisms such as OAuth and JWT. • Experience with automated testing frameworks.
