General Manager – Signage, Printing & Branding

We are looking for an experienced and commercially driven General Manager to oversee the overall business operations, commercial performance, and growth of a company specializing in signage, printing, branding, and custom fabrication solutions in Kuwait. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in signage, printing, branding, exhibition production, custom fabrication, or related interior fit-out businesses, with proven experience managing business operations, sales, production teams, client relationships, and P&L. The role requires a hands-on leader who understands the complete project lifecycle, from client requirements, design, estimation, and costing through production, fabrication, installation, and final delivery, while ensuring profitability, quality, and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: • Lead and manage overall business operations, including sales, design, production, fabrication, installation, and project delivery. • Take full responsibility for P&L management, including revenue, budgets, project margins, operational costs, and overall profitability. • Develop and implement business strategies to drive revenue growth, expand the client portfolio, and strengthen market presence. • Oversee business development activities, key client relationships, commercial negotiations, and major project opportunities. • Manage the execution of signage, branding, printing, and fabrication projects, ensuring quality, cost efficiency, and timely delivery. • Oversee workshop operations, including production planning, manpower allocation, machinery utilization, material requirements, and workflow management. • Review project estimates, quotations, pricing, and costing to ensure competitive proposals and profitable project execution. • Coordinate across sales, design, production, and installation teams to ensure smooth project execution from initial enquiry to final handover. • Oversee the production and installation of signage, branding displays, exhibition structures, retail displays, and customized fabrication projects. • Manage relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, installation teams, and other external service providers. • Monitor project schedules, production capacity, material consumption, wastage, and operational expenses to improve efficiency and margins. • Ensure quality standards, technical specifications, and client requirements are consistently met across all projects. • Lead and develop multidisciplinary teams, establishing clear responsibilities, performance targets, and operational KPIs. • Identify opportunities to improve production processes, operational efficiency, service offerings, and overall business performance. • Maintain strong relationships with existing clients while identifying new business opportunities across commercial, corporate, retail, and other relevant sectors. • Provide regular business performance reports to senior management, covering sales, revenue, profitability, project execution, and operational performance. Qualifications & Experience: • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related discipline is preferred. • Proven experience in a General Manager, Operations Manager, Business Unit Manager, or similar senior leadership role. • Relevant industry experience in signage, printing, branding, advertising production, exhibition production, custom fabrication, or interior fit-out businesses with exposure to signage and fabrication. • Strong understanding of signage production, large-format printing, fabrication, display production, and installation processes. • Proven experience managing P&L, business development, project costing, pricing, budgets, and profitability. • Strong knowledge of production planning, workshop management, material sourcing, and project execution. • Experience leading multidisciplinary teams across sales, design, production, fabrication, and installation. • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify business opportunities, negotiate with clients, and develop long-term customer relationships. • Experience handling multiple projects with varying technical specifications, budgets, and deadlines. • Strong leadership, decision-making, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. • Excellent communication, client management, and stakeholder coordination abilities. • Knowledge of the Kuwait signage, advertising, printing, and fabrication market would be an advantage.
