About the Role. Job Location: Kuwait. Department: On Sync Energy Management Services Company. Job Responsibilities • Perform maintenance, inspection, and troubleshooting of rotating equipment, particularly process gas compressors, including medium-pressure (MP) and low-pressure (LP) compressors. • Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation issues in coordination with maintenance teams. • Participate in HAZOP reviews for compressor systems, evaluate operational risks, and support the resolution of identified HAZOP recommendations. • Ensure compressor maintenance and operations comply with applicable international engineering standards and equipment codes. • Conduct lifecycle cost analysis, risk assessments, and value improvement studies to identify cost-reduction and equipment reliability opportunities. • Provide technical support during project execution and maintenance activities to improve compressor performance, safety, and operational efficiency. Qualification Requirements • Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. • Minimum 6 years of experience in compressor maintenance and servicing within the Oil & Gas, refinery, or petrochemical industry. • Strong hands-on experience with process gas compressors, particularly medium-pressure and low-pressure compressor systems. • Good knowledge of rotating equipment, compressor maintenance practices, and applicable international standards and codes. • Experience in troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation-related compressor issues. • Familiarity with HAZOP, risk assessment, lifecycle cost analysis, and equipment reliability improvement.
