Supply Chain Transportation Manager

Job Summary: Location: Saudi Arabia - Riyadh Department: Supply Chain Alamar is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Transportation Manager to lead and optimize transportation and logistics operations across Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing transportation networks, fleet operations, cold-chain distribution, and third-party logistics providers while ensuring operational efficiency, cost optimization, and compliance with food safety and transportation regulations. Key Responsibilities • Develop and implement transportation strategies aligned with business growth and operational requirements. • Oversee daily transportation operations, route planning, dispatching, and on-time deliveries to stores. • Manage owned fleets and third-party logistics (3PL) providers, ensuring service quality and cost efficiency. • Ensure cold-chain integrity and compliance with SFDA, HACCP, and food safety standards. • Optimize fleet utilization, delivery schedules, fuel consumption, and transportation costs. • Monitor transportation KPIs, including on-time delivery, fleet performance, cost efficiency, and safety. • Ensure compliance with Saudi transportation regulations, including TGA and municipal requirements. • Manage transportation budgets, negotiate service agreements, and identify cost-saving opportunities. • Lead, develop, and manage transportation teams to achieve operational targets. Qualifications & Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. • 8–10 years of experience in transportation or logistics, including at least 4 years in a managerial role. • Proven experience managing cold-chain transportation operations within QSR, FMCG, food service, or food distribution. • Experience managing owned fleets and 3PL providers across multiple locations. • Strong knowledge of fleet management, route optimization, and Saudi transportation regulations. • Experience using TMS, GPS tracking, ERP systems, and advanced Excel. • Strong leadership, analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. • Fluency in Arabic and English.
