Level 1 Technical Support Role - IT & Financial Application

Position Overview We are seeking a motivated and technically inclined individual to join our team as a Level 1 Technical Support Analyst, supporting IT systems and financial applications. This role is suited for an early-career professional with a foundation in programming, database concepts, and technical troubleshooting. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, a willingness to learn, and an interest in supporting applications used within the financial services industry. Qualifications & Requirements • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field, such as Management Information Systems (MIS), Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or Information Technology. • Programming Knowledge: Familiarity with at least one programming language, such as Python, C#, or a similar language. • Database Knowledge: Basic knowledge of SQL and relational databases is preferred. • Command-Line Tools: Familiarity with terminal environments and command-line tools, such as PowerShell, is preferred. • Technical Troubleshooting: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an interest in diagnosing technical issues and supporting business applications. • Financial Services Knowledge: Familiarity with investment management, financial markets, or financial applications is a plus. • Location & Residency: Candidates should currently reside in the UAE and/or hold valid UAE residency. Work Schedule & Location This is an office-based role from Monday through Thursday, with remote work on Friday and Sunday. • Monday–Thursday: On-site, starting at 5:00 AM GST, with an eight-hour shift plus a break. • Friday: Half-day remote work. Exact working hours are to be confirmed. • Sunday: Half-day remote work, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM GST. Candidates should be comfortable working early-morning hours and following the schedule outlined above.
