About The Company Maven Insights is focused on helping organizations make informed decisions and improve business performance through analysis, collaboration, and practical problem-solving. We work with teams to understand complex challenges, uncover useful insights, and develop recommendations that can be translated into action. Our approach values curiosity, clear communication, and a thoughtful understanding of each client’s goals and operating environment. At Maven Insights, we believe strong outcomes come from combining rigorous analysis with an appreciation for people, processes, and business context. We encourage our team members to share ideas, learn from different perspectives, and contribute to work that is both meaningful and measurable. We are seeking a Business Analyst who is motivated to support this work and help clients and internal teams move from questions to well-supported decisions. About The Role As a Business Analyst, you will gather and interpret information, clarify business needs, and help translate findings into practical recommendations. You will work with project teams and stakeholders to understand objectives, assess current processes, organize data, and communicate insights in a clear and accessible way. The role calls for sound judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to balance analytical work with productive collaboration. You will contribute throughout project lifecycles, from defining questions and gathering requirements to presenting findings and supporting implementation planning. You will be expected to manage assigned work responsibly, raise questions when information is unclear, and adapt your approach as project priorities evolve. This position is suited to someone who enjoys solving problems and can explain complex information to audiences with different levels of technical knowledge. Qualifications A bachelor’s degree in business, economics, analytics, information systems, social sciences, or a related field is preferred. Equivalent practical experience may also be considered. Candidates should have experience in business analysis, research, consulting, operations, or another role involving structured problem-solving and stakeholder communication. You should be comfortable working with data and common workplace tools, including spreadsheet and presentation software. Familiarity with data visualization, querying, process mapping, or project management tools is an advantage, but the ability to learn new tools is equally important. Strong written and verbal communication skills, careful attention to detail, and the ability to organize multiple tasks are essential. Successful candidates bring intellectual curiosity, a collaborative mindset, and a responsible approach to handling confidential information. You should be able to work independently on defined tasks, seek feedback, and incorporate it constructively. A practical, client-focused attitude and a willingness to keep developing your analytical skills will help you succeed in this role. Responsibilities Gather, document, and validate business requirements through stakeholder discussions, research, and review of available information. Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and possible explanations. Develop clear summaries, reports, presentations, and visual materials that help teams understand findings and make decisions. Map business processes, identify inefficiencies or gaps, and support the development of improvement recommendations. Work with project colleagues to define scope, track deliverables, maintain accurate documentation, and communicate changes or emerging issues. Present information in a structured, objective manner and tailor explanations to the needs of different audiences. Support implementation planning by documenting next steps, success measures, dependencies, and open questions. Protect sensitive information, follow established quality standards, and contribute to a respectful, dependable team environment. Benefits Maven Insights offers an opportunity to work on varied business challenges, collaborate with thoughtful colleagues, and build skills in analysis, communication, and problem-solving. Team members are encouraged to pursue ongoing learning and share ideas that improve how work is delivered. Compensation, benefits, and work arrangements will be discussed during the hiring process and will reflect the role, experience, and applicable employment requirements.
