Role Description The Procurement Officer is a full-time, on-site role based in Abu Dhabi, responsible for overseeing end-to-end procurement activities to support interior design and fit-out projects. Day-to-day tasks include sourcing and evaluating suppliers, managing purchasing processes, preparing and reviewing purchase orders, and ensuring timely delivery of materials and services. The role involves negotiating contracts and pricing, monitoring vendor performance, and maintaining accurate procurement records in line with company policies. The Senior Procurement Officer will collaborate closely with project managers, designers, finance, and operations teams to optimize costs, maintain quality standards, and support project timelines. This position also contributes to continuous improvement of procurement procedures and compliance with relevant regulations and internal controls. Qualifications • Candidates should possess strong Procurement and Purchasing skills to manage sourcing, supplier selection, and material acquisition. • Candidates should possess expertise in Purchase Orders and Contract Negotiation to ensure clear terms, cost efficiency, and timely fulfillment. • Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to evaluate quotations, assess supplier performance, and support data-driven decision-making. • Relevant experience in procurement within construction, interior design, or fit-out industries is highly beneficial. • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field is preferred. • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and vendor relationship skills are required. • Proficiency with ERP or procurement software and MS Office, especially Excel, is advantageous. • Ability to work on-site in Abu Dhabi, manage multiple priorities, and uphold ethical and compliance standards in all purchasing activities.
