Role Description The Senior Project Architect is a full-time, in Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates. The role involves leading architectural design and documentation from concept through construction, ensuring alignment with project requirements, codes, and standards. Daily responsibilities include coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, preparing and reviewing design drawings, managing submittals, and overseeing BIM models to maintain accuracy and consistency. The Senior Project Architect will guide project schedules and deliverables, collaborate with clients and authorities for approvals, and incorporate sustainable design principles, including LEED-related requirements where applicable. This role also includes mentoring junior team members, contributing to quality control, and supporting project management activities to ensure timely and successful project completion. Qualifications • Candidates should possess strong Architecture skills, including concept design, detailed design, and coordination of construction documentation. • Candidates should possess Project Management capabilities, such as planning, scheduling, resource coordination, and stakeholder communication. • Candidates should possess experience with Submittals, including preparation, review, tracking, and coordination with consultants, contractors, and authorities. • Candidates should possess familiarity with Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) or similar sustainability standards, with the ability to apply relevant guidelines in design. • Candidates should possess Building Information Modeling (BIM) proficiency, ideally with tools such as Revit, to manage models and integrate multidisciplinary information. • Relevant qualifications include a professional degree in Architecture or a related field, registration or licensure where applicable, and several years of experience in leading complex projects. • Additional beneficial skills include knowledge of local building regulations, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, clear written and verbal communication, and experience working within multicultural teams.
