Electrical Maintenance Engineer - ELV

Job Summary Responsible for the advanced design, implementation, and maintenance of Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems, including security, communication, and building management solutions. Ensure that all ELV systems function efficiently and comply with industry standards while providing innovative solutions to meet project requirements. Oversee project lifecycles from conception to completion, ensuring high-quality outcomes. Mentor junior engineers, fostering their professional development and technical skills. Additionally, this role requires collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to integrate ELV systems seamlessly into existing infrastructures Key Responsibilities • Lead the design and specification of complex ELV systems, including CCTV, access control, fire alarm, and audio-visual systems. • Manage project lifecycles, including planning, execution, and collaboration with contractors and stakeholders. • Conduct detailed site assessments to identify project requirements and constraints. • Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of ELV systems, ensuring adherence to design specifications and safety standards. • Troubleshoot and resolve advanced technical issues related to ELV systems throughout the project lifecycle. • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of ELV systems with other building systems. • Prepare comprehensive documentation, including design drawings, system specifications, and project reports. • Provide training and technical support to end-users and junior team members on ELV system operations. • Stay abreast of industry developments, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements related to ELV systems. • Participate in safety audits and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during installations. • Mentor junior engineers and technicians, providing guidance and knowledge sharing. • Assist in the preparation and management of project budgets, timelines, and resource allocations. • Monitor and report on project progress, ensuring successful and timely completion of deliverables. • In-depth knowledge of ELV systems, including design, installation, and maintenance. • Proficient in troubleshooting and resolving advanced technical issues. Minimum Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics or a related field is required. Minimum Experience • 3-5 years of experience in the design, installation or maintenance of ELV systems.
