About the role
About Mirnah Mirnah Technology Systems(Mirnah) is a Saudi Arabian software company that specializes in Sales Force Automation, eCommerce, Forecasting, Asset Management and Inventory Software – revolutionizing the way businesses manage their financial transactions and inventory on the go. Our innovative software seamlessly integrates accounting processes with route planning, providing businesses with a comprehensive solution for efficient and accurate financial management. Our Enterprise Mobility software products are designed to streamline operations for a wide range of industries, including distribution, delivery, field sales and government. With real-time tracking and automation features, businesses can optimize their routes, enhance order accuracy, and maximize productivity. The software also facilitates secure and transparent financial transactions, enabling businesses to manage sales, inventory, and customer accounts effortlessly. The role Mirnah’s customers buy outcomes, not features: a van salesman who can invoice, collect and reconcile stock on one device; a warehouse that stays in step with the ERP; a planning team that sees demand coming. Pre-sales is where those outcomes are first shown to be achievable — in discovery sessions, demonstrations and proposals that the delivery team can later stand behind. The Software Pre-Sales Engineer supports the sales team throughout the technical and solution-selling cycle by understanding customer requirements, designing suitable solutions, conducting demonstrations, preparing technical proposals, and coordinating technical and delivery teams. The role is the technical counterpart to the Sales Account Manager on each opportunity, responsible for making sure that what is proposed is technically sound, clearly scoped and deliverable. What you'll do Discovery and Requirements • Sales partnership — work closely with the sales team to understand customer business and technical requirements. • Discovery — conduct discovery sessions and requirement-gathering meetings with customers. • Clarification — assist the sales team during technical and commercial clarification meetings. Solution Design • Solution design — translate customer requirements into suitable solution designs built on Mirnah’s portfolio — RoutePro, OrderPro, StockPro, AssetPro, ForecastPro and Business Analytics. • Architecture — explain solution architecture, integration requirements, hosting options and technical capabilities. • Integration — support discussions related to APIs, ERP, CRM, WMS, cloud, mobility and enterprise integrations, including connections to ERPs such as SAP, Oracle Fusion and JD Edwards. • Risk — identify technical risks, gaps and dependencies during the sales cycle, and make sure they are reflected in the proposal. Demonstrations and Proofs of Concept • Presentations — prepare and deliver solution presentations, demonstrations and proofs of concept. • Demo environments — maintain demo environments, presentation materials and technical documentation. Proposals and Tenders • Technical proposals — prepare technical proposals, solution descriptions, scopes of work and related documentation. • Tenders — support RFP, RFI and tender responses, including technical compliance and clarifications. Coordination and Handover • Internal coordination — coordinate with technical, product, implementation and delivery teams. • Handover — support the proper handover of awarded projects to the implementation and project teams. • Product feedback — pass recurring customer requirements and competitive gaps back to the product team. Market and Product Knowledge • Keep up to date with market trends, competitor solutions and customer requirements. • Maintain in-depth, hands-on knowledge of Mirnah’s products, their configuration options and their integration capabilities. • Handle customer information, requirements and system details confidentially, in line with Mirnah policies. What you'll bring • 1 to 5 years’ experience in software pre-sales, business analysis, solution consulting, implementation or a similar role. • Arabic is required, together with English, spoken and written. • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. • Strong presentation, communication and customer-facing skills. • Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. • Good analytical and problem-solving skills. • Ability to work closely with sales, technical and delivery teams. • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and presentation tools. • Willing and able to travel within Saudi Arabia for customer workshops, demonstrations and meetings. Nice to have • Experience with enterprise software, cloud solutions, APIs, databases, mobility and integrations. • Good understanding of business processes in FMCG, distribution, supply chain, logistics or field sales. • Familiarity with ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle Fusion or JD Edwards, and with how field and warehouse data flows into them. • Experience with sales force automation, van sales, warehouse management or demand planning solutions. • Exposure to rugged mobile devices and enterprise device management, such as Honeywell devices and SOTI. • Experience with reporting and analytics tools such as Qlik. • Experience preparing RFP, RFI and tender responses. How we work • Consultative approach - asks the questions that uncover the real requirement before proposing an answer. • Technical credibility - explains architecture and integration clearly and accurately to business and IT audiences alike. • Clear communication - turns complex solutions into clear presentations and documents, in Arabic or English. • Analytical thinking - breaks a customer’s operation down into processes, data and integration points. • Realism - proposes only what can be delivered and raises risks openly. • Collaboration - works as one team with sales, product and delivery colleagues. • Organisation - runs several opportunities, demos and deadlines in parallel without losing detail. How success is measured The role is measured on the quality of the solutions it proposes and its contribution to winning business. These are the main measures; specific objectives are set and reviewed by the Sales Manager. • Discovery - Captures customer business and technical requirements fully and accurately before a solution is proposed. • Solution design - Proposes solutions that fit the requirement, are clearly scoped and can be
