Dermatologist

We are seeking a highly competent, patient-focused Specialist Dermatologist to join a premier healthcare facility in the Sultanate of Oman. In this role, you will deliver advanced clinical, surgical, and aesthetic dermatological care, providing accurate diagnoses and customized treatment plans for pediatric and adult patients. The ideal candidate blends strong diagnostic acumen in medical dermatology with hands-on expertise in aesthetic procedures, laser technologies, and minor dermatological surgeries. Key Responsibilities * Clinical Assessment & Diagnosis: Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a broad spectrum of acute and chronic dermatological conditions (e.g., acne, eczema, psoriasis, alopecia, skin infections, pigmentation disorders, and pre-cancerous lesions). * Aesthetic & Cosmetic Procedures: Perform aesthetic interventions such as Botox, dermal fillers, chemical peels, microneedling, PRP therapy, and advanced laser treatments (skin resurfacing, hair reduction, vascular lesions). * Minor Surgical Interventions: Conduct diagnostic skin biopsies, excisions of benign/malignant lesions, electrosurgery, and cryotherapy following strict clinical protocols. * Patient Education & Consultation: Provide comprehensive pre- and post-treatment consultations, setting realistic expectations and guiding patients on long-term skin health. * Compliance & Quality Assurance: Maintain detailed, compliant electronic health records (EHR) and adhere to the healthcare regulations and standards set by the Oman Ministry of Health (MOH). Candidate Requirements & Qualifications * Education: MBBS or equivalent medical degree, followed by a recognized post-graduate degree/diploma (MD, DNB, MRCP-Derm, or equivalent) in Dermatology, Venereology, and Leprosy. * Experience: Minimum of 3 years post-qualification clinical experience in a hospital or reputed outpatient clinic setting. * Licensing & Verification: * Must hold or be eligible for an OMSB (Oman Medical Specialty Board) evaluation / Prometric exam clearance. * Valid DataFlow primary source verification (PSV) completed or in process is strongly preferred. * Current, active license to practice medicine in country of origin. * Skills: Strong communication skills and empathetic bedside manner; familiarity with modern electronic medical records systems. * Languages: Professional fluency in English (Written & Spoken). Knowledge of Arabic is a distinct advantage.
