Role Description The BIM Engineer role at EA Group is a full-time, on-site position based in Doha, Qatar. The BIM Engineer is responsible for developing, coordinating, and managing BIM models for architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines throughout the project lifecycle. Day-to-day tasks include interpreting construction drawings, ensuring model accuracy and consistency, detecting and resolving clashes, and supporting design teams with data-rich models and documentation. The BIM Engineer collaborates closely with architects, civil engineers, project managers, and site teams to align digital models with construction realities, project timelines, and quality standards. The role also involves contributing to BIM workflows, standards, and best practices, and supporting the integration of BIM with project planning, reporting, and digital transformation initiatives. Qualifications • Candidates should possess strong Building Information Modeling (BIM) skills, including model creation, coordination, clash detection, and adherence to BIM standards and protocols. • Candidates should possess skills in interpreting and developing detailed Construction Drawings, ensuring accurate translation of design intent into coordinated models and documentation. • Candidates should possess Mechanical Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) coordination skills, including familiarity with MEP systems and integration of MEP models within multidisciplinary BIM environments. • Candidates should possess knowledge in Architecture, with the ability to understand spatial design, building layouts, and architectural detailing within BIM models. • Candidates should possess knowledge in Civil Engineering, including structural elements, site works, and infrastructure components relevant to BIM-based project delivery. • Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Building Services, or a related field. • Proficiency in BIM authoring and coordination tools (e.g., Revit, Navisworks, or equivalent), and familiarity with common data environments. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate in multidisciplinary teams and work to deadlines. • Experience with GCC or MENA construction standards
