About the role

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site executive role based in Al Khobar. Reporting to the CEO and working closely with the Board and Audit Committee, the CFO will own the company’s financial strategy, capital structure and performance management. The role goes well beyond reporting. You will shape where the company invests, how it funds growth, and how it protects margins and cash in a capital-intensive, contract-driven industry. Key Responsibilities • Strategy and capital allocation: Lead the business plan, long-range forecasting and capital allocation, and evaluate new projects, contracts and expansion opportunities on return and risk. • Funding and treasury: Manage banking relationships, debt facilities, project and working-capital financing, guarantees and LCs. Optimize liquidity and cash conversion. • Performance management: Build budgeting, rolling forecasts and KPI frameworks, including contract and project profitability, utilization and cost-to-serve. Provide the analysis behind commercial and operational decisions. • Contract and bid economics: Partner with operations and commercial teams on tender pricing, contract terms, cost recovery and margin protection on long-term service contracts. • Reporting and audit: Deliver accurate, timely IFRS reporting, as endorsed by SOCPA. Lead the external audit and present to the Board and Audit Committee. • Tax and regulatory compliance: Own Zakat, VAT, withholding tax and e-invoicing compliance with ZATCA, plus transfer pricing where applicable. Manage regulatory and statutory obligations. • Governance, risk and controls: Establish internal controls, a delegation of authority, and enterprise risk management covering FX, commodity-linked exposure, credit and counterparty risk. • Systems and transformation: Drive ERP optimization, automation and data-driven finance processes. • Leadership: Build and develop a high-performing finance team, including Saudi talent development in line with Saudization goals. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field. CFA is required, MBA is a plus. • 12+ years of progressive finance experience, including at least 4 years as a CFO. • Experience in oil and gas, oilfield services, EPC or other capital-intensive, project-based industry is strongly preferred. • Proven track record in raising and managing financing, and in working with Saudi banks. • Strong command of IFRS, the Saudi Zakat and tax framework, and ZATCA requirements. • Hands-on experience with a major ERP system, such as SAP or Oracle. • A commercially minded leader who can translate numbers into decisions. • Fluent English is required.
