Junior Accountant

Your Mission As our Junior Accountant, you’ll help keep Beehive’s books accurate, complete and on time. You’ll be part of the Finance team that the rest of the business, our auditors and our regulators rely on for numbers they can trust. In This Role, That Means Handling the day-to-day accounting for Beehive’s entities across the UAE, Oman and KSA, supporting a clean and timely month-end close, and making sure every transaction is recorded, reconciled and properly documented. It’s a hands-on role with plenty of room to learn how finance works inside a regulated, growing fintech. Day to Day • Processing accounts payable and receivable, including supplier invoices, payments and expense claims. • Preparing and posting journal entries, accruals and prepayments. • Performing bank, intercompany and balance sheet reconciliations across multiple currencies. • Supporting the month-end and year-end close, including preparing schedules and supporting documents. • Assisting with VAT returns and other tax filings across our UAE, Oman and KSA entities. • Maintaining the fixed asset register and keeping the general ledger clean and up to date. • Working with HR on payroll reconciliations and related postings. • Supporting internal and external audits by preparing requested information and documentation. • Helping with regulatory and management reporting as needed. • Spotting opportunities to tidy up processes and improve how we record and report. This Might Be You If • You hold a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field. • You have 1–2 years of accounting experience, ideally from an audit firm, financial services or fintech. • You’re working towards, or have completed, a professional qualification such as ACCA, CMA or CPA. • You have a solid understanding of IFRS and core accounting principles. • You’re strong in Excel and comfortable in accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, Zoho Books or NetSuite. • You’re detail-oriented and take pride in reconciliations that actually reconcile. • You’re organised, meet deadlines reliably, and communicate clearly in English. • Bonus: exposure to UAE, Oman or KSA VAT, multi-entity or multi-currency accounting, or a DFSA-regulated environment. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field. 1–2 years of accounting experience, ideally from an audit firm, financial services or fintech. Working towards, or have completed, a professional qualification such as ACCA, CMA or CPA. Solid understanding of IFRS and core accounting principles. Strong Excel skills and comfort with accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, Zoho Books or NetSuite. Detail-oriented with strong reconciliations. Organized, deadline-driven, and clear English communication. Bonus: exposure to UAE, Oman or KSA VAT, multi-entity or multi-currency accounting, or a DFSA-regulated environment.
