Projects Engineer - Civil (ADNOC Experience Mandatory)

Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE Industry: Oil & Gas Employment Type: Full-Time Experience: Minimum 5 Years Qualification: Master's Degree Required Work Schedule: 5 Months Offshore + 1 Month Paid Leave, with remaining assignments Onshore in Abu Dhabi About the Role We are hiring an experienced Projects Engineer – Civil for a leading company in Abu Dhabi's Oil & Gas industry. The ideal candidate must have a Civil Engineering background, proven hands-on ADNOC project experience, and strong expertise in civil project planning, execution, cost control, contractor coordination, and project delivery. Important: ADNOC project experience, a Civil Engineering background, and willingness to undertake offshore assignments are mandatory. Candidates from purely Mechanical, Electrical, or MEP backgrounds will not be considered. Key Responsibilities • Manage civil engineering projects from design, planning, and procurement through execution, commissioning, and final handover. • Review engineering drawings, technical specifications, project proposals, and contractor submissions. • Prepare project cost estimates, budgets, manpower requirements, and execution schedules. • Coordinate with clients, contractors, site engineers, supervisors, and technical teams. • Monitor project progress, milestones, quality standards, and contractual deliverables. • Control project expenditures, evaluate contractor bids, and manage project resources. • Identify technical and execution challenges, implement corrective actions, and maintain project timelines. • Prepare project documentation, progress reports, and handover records while ensuring compliance with applicable HSE and project standards. Mandatory Qualifications & Requirements • Civil Engineering educational background. • Direct ADNOC project experience. • Recognized Civil Engineering qualification and completed Master's Degree. • Minimum 5 years of relevant project engineering experience, preferably within Oil & Gas, industrial, or civil engineering projects. • Proven experience in civil project planning, execution, supervision, and coordination. • Strong knowledge of engineering drawings, project specifications, budgeting, procurement, and contractor management. • Experience managing project schedules, manpower, and technical documentation. • Strong reporting, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. • Must be willing to work offshore for 5 months followed by 1 month of paid leave, with remaining work assignments onshore in Abu Dhabi.
