The Head Waiter oversees the dining service team, ensuring guests receive attentive, efficient, and high-quality service throughout their visit. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating table service, managing reservations and seating plans, supervising waitstaff, and resolving guest inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally. The role also involves liaising with the kitchen and bar to ensure timely food and beverage delivery, maintaining cleanliness and presentation standards in the dining area, and supporting training and mentoring of junior staff. The Head Waiter is expected to lead by example, uphold brand and service standards, and contribute to a positive, inclusive, and guest-focused environment. Qualifications • Candidates should possess strong customer service skills, with a focus on guest satisfaction, problem-solving, and professional demeanor in a hospitality setting. • Candidates should possess experience in food & beverage operations, including menu familiarity, upselling techniques, and coordination with kitchen and bar teams. • Candidates should possess practical food service skills, such as table setting, order taking, serving, and ensuring a smooth and efficient dining experience. • Candidates should possess effective communication skills, including clear verbal communication, active listening, and the ability to work with diverse guests and team members. • Candidates should possess basic understanding of cooking or kitchen processes to coordinate service timing and support accurate guest expectations. • Previous experience as a Head Waiter, Supervisor, or senior waitstaff in a restaurant, hotel, or similar hospitality environment is strongly preferred. • Ability to lead and train a team, handle busy service periods, and maintain high standards of hygiene, safety, and presentation. • Fluency in English is required; additional languages commonly spoken in Dubai are an advantage. • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and Show more Show less
