The Server is responsible for greeting guests, presenting menus, taking food and beverage orders, and delivering items accurately and efficiently. Day-to-day tasks include setting up and clearing tables, ensuring the dining area is clean and well-organized, and coordinating with kitchen and bar staff to support smooth service. The Server will handle payments, respond to guest inquiries or concerns, and follow company standards for hygiene, safety, and customer service. This role also involves promoting specials, maintaining product knowledge, and contributing to a positive team environment. Qualifications • Strong customer service skills, including clear communication, active listening, and a friendly, professional demeanor. • Ability to manage multiple tables, prioritize tasks, and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. • Basic math and cash-handling skills, with accuracy in processing payments and using POS systems. • Knowledge of food and beverage service standards, including menu familiarity, upselling techniques, and safe handling practices. • Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. • Teamwork and collaboration skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively with kitchen, bar, and host staff. • Understanding of basic health, safety, and hygiene regulations in a hospitality setting. • Previous experience as a server or in a hospitality role is preferred; training may be provided for candidates with strong potential. • Proficiency in English; additional language skills commonly used in Bahrain are an advantage.
