Head of Inventory Control

Job Title: Head of Inventory Control Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia Industry: Food & Beverage and Retail About the Role GRIVOT, a human resources consulting and services company, is recruiting a Head of Inventory Control on behalf of a leading company. This role will lead inventory control across warehouses, branches, and departments, ensuring accurate inventory records, effective stocktaking and reconciliations, and strong financial controls. Key Responsibilities • Lead inventory control and oversee warehouse operations, ensuring compliance with inventory policies and procedures. • Plan and supervise physical stock takes and cycle counts, investigate discrepancies, and implement corrective actions. • Reconcile physical stock with system records and inventory balances with the general ledger. • Monitor inventory valuation, stock movements, expiry dates, and slow-moving, damaged, or obsolete items. • Manage and develop the team, monitor KPIs, and coordinate with Finance, Procurement, Sales, Production, and Operations. • Prepare inventory reports and support internal and external audits. Qualifications and Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. • At least 7 years of relevant experience in inventory control and warehouse management, including at least 3 years in a leadership role. • Strong practical knowledge of inventory accounting, stocktaking, reconciliations, and variance analysis. • Proficiency in relevant accounting software, ERP systems, inventory management systems, and Microsoft Excel. • Strong leadership, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. • Experience in Food & Beverage, Retail, and multi-site operations is preferred.
