Senior Accountant / Accounts Manager (F&B, Multi-Entity) Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates Experience: 6–8 years About the Company We are a growing food and beverage organization operating multiple entities, outlets, brands, and managed venues in the UAE. Our finance function supports mainland, free zone, and ADGM structures, as well as new venue openings and ongoing outlet operations. The organization works across daily sales, cash management, procurement, inventory, payroll, taxation, capital expenditure, and stakeholder reporting. We manage relationships with landlords, lenders, investors, suppliers, delivery platforms, and operating teams. Finance is expected to provide reliable numbers, protect cash, identify leakage early, and give leadership a clear view of profitability by outlet and brand. This is an operational environment where accounting quality directly affects purchasing, staffing, expansion, liquidity, and commercial decisions. The successful candidate will join a hands-on team that values ownership, disciplined controls, timely reporting, practical problem-solving, and accurate information across every entity and venue. About the Role This role owns the complete accounting and financial-control cycle for multiple UAE F&B entities and venues. You will independently close monthly books, maintain clean intercompany and shareholder or group loan balances, and produce timely outlet, brand, and consolidated reporting. The role connects accounting with daily commercial operations by reconciling tills, cash, cards, delivery apps, inventory, payroll, purchasing, and venue-level costs. You will also manage VAT and Corporate Tax compliance across mainland, free zone, and ADGM entities, while maintaining audit-ready records. Success means leadership receives accurate numbers within seven to ten days, cash risks are visible early, cost leakage is investigated, and new venue investments remain controlled against approved budgets. Key Responsibilities • Own full books for every entity, including journals, reconciliations, intercompany balances, and shareholder or group loans, so monthly close is independently completed within seven to ten days. • Reconcile daily outlet sales from tills against cash, card settlements, and delivery applications, strengthening cash controls, petty cash discipline, and visibility of unexplained differences. • Maintain the post-dated cheque register against available cash, identifying upcoming funding requirements and preventing avoidable liquidity pressure across operating entities and venues. • Calculate recipe costs, compare expected and actual food costs, complete monthly stock counts, and report wastage, variances, and inter-outlet transfers to protect gross margins. • Reconcile supplier statements, verify purchase prices, plan payment runs, and collect management fees from managed venues using accurate ageing and follow-up reporting. • Track fit-out expenditure against budgets, landlord contributions, depreciation, and pre-opening costs, keeping investment spending distinct from recurring operating expenses. • Run payroll through WPS while maintaining leave, gratuity, and staff-advance accruals, ensuring payroll liabilities are complete, timely, and properly supported. • File VAT and Corporate Tax returns for each entity, maintain year-end audit documentation, and deliver lender, investor, covenant, and landlord sales-certification reporting. Essential Skills & Technologies • Six to eight years of accounting experience, including at least three to four years in UAE F&B, with proven ownership of books across multiple entities and new venue pre-openings. • Hands-on knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax across mainland, free zone, and ADGM entities, including filing discipline, supporting schedules, and audit readiness. • Practical expertise with Zoho Books or Tally, advanced Excel, POS and delivery-app data, inventory controls, WPS payroll, outlet reporting, consolidation, and rolling cash-flow forecasting. Additional Plus • CMA, ACCA, or CPA qualification is preferred and would strengthen technical accounting, tax, reporting, and stakeholder confidence. • Experience with lender covenant reporting, investor reporting, landlord turnover certifications, and management-fee accounting would be valuable in this multi-entity operating environment. • Exposure to restaurant recipe costing, pre-opening accounting, fit-out budgets, landlord contributions, and outlet-level margin improvement would be an advantage. What You'll Bring • You bring strong ownership of full-cycle accounting and the confidence to work independently across several entities, outlets, brands, and managed venues. Your UAE F&B experience means you understand that reliable books must reconcile to tills, cash, card settlements, delivery platforms, inventory movement, purchasing, payroll, and real operating conditions. • You are comfortable moving between detailed transactional review and senior-level reporting, turning variances into clear actions rather than simply recording them. You can manage month-end deadlines, prepare outlet and group reporting, build budgets and 13-week cash-flow forecasts, and explain financial performance to operational and commercial stakeholders. • You bring practical knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax, audit support, WPS, gratuity accruals, intercompany accounting, shareholder or group loans, and pre-opening cost control. You are rigorous with documentation, questioning of unusual trends, and follow-through on collections, payment runs, stock variances, and cash exposures. • You communicate clearly, protect confidentiality, and raise issues early when food and labour costs, rent, delivery margins, liquidity, or covenant compliance begin to deteriorate. Why Join Us • You will own finance for a multi-entity F&B operation where accurate accounting directly shapes outlet profitability, cash protection, venue launches, purchasing, staffing, and expansion decisions. • The role provides broad exposure across UAE entity structures, outlet accounting, taxation, pre-openings, working capital, investor and lender reporting, and commercial performance management. • Your work will have visible impact because leadership relies on timely reporting to identify leakage, protect margins, manage liquidity, and improve the performance of each venue and brand. What We Offer • A confidential search process and broad scope across accounting, tax, controls, reporting, cash flow, venue openings, and stakeholder management, with meaningful visibility into business decisions and performance.
