The ideal candidate should be organized, physically fit, and capable of handling goods, maintaining inventory records, and ensuring that warehouse activities are completed safely and efficiently. Key Responsibilities • Assist with receiving, unloading, and checking incoming shipments. • Verify goods against delivery notes, invoices, and other shipping documents. • Organize and store products in the correct warehouse locations. • Pick, pack, label, and prepare goods for dispatch and delivery. • Assist with loading and unloading cargo safely and efficiently. • Maintain accurate inventory and stock records. • Conduct regular stock counts and report any discrepancies. • Inspect goods for damage and inform the supervisor of any issues. • Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free from safety hazards. • Support the preparation of orders and coordinate dispatch activities. • Follow proper procedures for handling, storing, and moving goods. • Assist with documentation related to incoming and outgoing shipments. • Coordinate with warehouse supervisors, drivers, and logistics staff. • Follow company policies and health and safety procedures at all times. Requirements • High school certificate or equivalent qualification. • Previous experience in warehouse operations, freight forwarding, or logistics is preferred. • Basic knowledge of inventory management and warehouse procedures. • Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving goods safely. • Good organizational and time-management skills. • Ability to understand delivery notes, stock lists, and basic warehouse documents. • Good communication and teamwork skills. • Attention to detail when checking shipments and recording stock movements. • Reliable, punctual, and responsible work attitude. • Ability to follow instructions and meet operational deadlines. • Familiarity with warehouse equipment and safe handling practices is an advantage.
