Portfolio Manager

Main Purpose: The Portfolio Manager coordinates delivery oversight and portfolio performance across assigned portfolios, programs, subsidiaries and functions. The role consolidates project and program information, challenges delivery status, manages cross-project dependencies and prepares governance, escalation and decision inputs, while Project Sponsors, Program Leads, Project Managers and Business Owners retain their defined delivery and outcome accountabilities. Area of responsibility: • Coordinate delivery oversight across assigned portfolios, programs, subsidiaries, functions and Group projects. • Maintain the consolidated view of projects, programs, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, decisions and benefits. • Validate and challenge project and program RAG status, forecasts, recovery actions and reporting quality. • Consolidate project updates into program and portfolio performance views. • Maintain integrated program roadmaps and monitor cross-project dependencies and decision requirements. • Lead the weekly Project Delivery Review for assigned areas and support the Portfolio & Program Review. • Prepare governance packs, escalation inputs, decision requirements and recommended actions. • Coordinate with Project Sponsors, Program Sponsors, Program Leads, Project Managers and Business Owners to resolve information gaps and progress actions. • Direct and quality-assure the work of assigned EPM Specialists. • Escalate material exceptions to the EPM Director through the defined governance route. • Support project intake, placement, tiering, onboarding and gate-readiness reviews. • Identify portfolio resource constraints, delivery conflicts and improvement opportunities. Qualification: • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Industrial Engineering, Management, or a related field • Master’s degree is preferred • PMP, PgMP, PfMP, PRINCE2, MSP or equivalent certification preferred Work experience: • 9–11 years of relevant experience across project, program, portfolio, EPM or transformation management • Experience coordinating complex cross-functional portfolios or programs and preparing executive governance reporting Required skills: • Project and portfolio coordination • Delivery planning and tracking • EPM governance and controls • RAID and RAG management • Reporting and dashboarding • Stakeholder coordination • Risk, issue, and dependency management Show more Show less
