Senior Mechanical Engineer (FM)

We are looking for an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer with a strong Facilities Management (FM) background to join our team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience managing mechanical systems within FM operations, with strong technical knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, water systems, pumps and associated building services. 🔧 Key Responsibilities: • Manage and supervise mechanical maintenance activities across FM sites. • Oversee operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of HVAC, chilled water, plumbing, pumps and other mechanical systems. • Develop and monitor PPM and corrective maintenance programmes. • Lead technical investigations for recurring equipment failures and recommend appropriate corrective actions. • Review mechanical drawings, specifications, method statements and technical documentation. • Monitor asset performance and support lifecycle and replacement planning. • Ensure mechanical systems are operated efficiently, safely and in accordance with applicable standards. • Coordinate with MEP teams, specialist subcontractors, suppliers and site operations teams. • Monitor contractor performance, maintenance quality and completion of assigned works. • Provide technical support for mechanical breakdowns, emergencies and critical equipment issues. • Prepare technical reports, maintenance records and performance updates for management. • Ensure compliance with HSE requirements, statutory requirements and FM procedures. 🎯 Candidate Requirements: • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering. • Strong professional experience in Facilities Management / Building Maintenance is essential. • Previous experience in a Senior Mechanical Engineer or similar FM engineering role is highly preferred. • Strong knowledge of HVAC, chilled water systems, pumps, plumbing and mechanical building services. • Good understanding of PPM, reactive maintenance, asset management and MEP operations. • Strong troubleshooting, technical reporting and problem-solving skills. • Ability to supervise technical teams and coordinate effectively with contractors and other stakeholders. • GCC FM experience would be an advantage. 📩 How to Apply: Interested and qualified candidates may send their updated CV to [email protected], mentioning “Senior Mechanical Engineer – FM” in the email subject line.
