Flight Dispatch Supervisor

Texel Air is seeking an experienced and licensed Flight Dispatch Supervisor to join our Operations Control Centre (OCC) team. The successful candidate will oversee the day-to-day operation of the OCC, providing leadership, technical guidance and operational decision-making support to ensure all flight dispatch and operational control activities are conducted safely, efficiently and in accordance with company and regulatory requirements. As the senior operational authority during assigned shifts, the Flight Dispatch Supervisor will lead and support the OCC team, oversee flight planning and flight watch activities, manage operational disruptions, monitor operational risk and ensure effective coordination with flight crews, management, authorities and service providers. The role will also support dispatcher training and competency, quality assurance, operational audits and continuous improvement initiatives, as well as projects including new routes, airport approvals, aircraft introductions and regulatory submissions. Minimum Requirements • Valid FAA or EASA Flight Dispatcher Licence, with FAA licence preferred • Minimum 5 years’ flight dispatch experience • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Senior Dispatcher, Lead Dispatcher or supervisory role • Strong knowledge and experience of international cargo and ACMI operations • Experience in operational control and flight watch • Strong leadership, decision-making and communication skills • A strong safety, regulatory and compliance focus Desirable • Leadership training • Experience with regulatory audits and aviation authority interaction • Knowledge of Bahrain CAA requirements This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Flight Dispatcher ready to take on a key operational leadership role within Texel Air.
