Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Kuwait City for a Printer & Photocopier Technician. The technician will install, configure, and maintain printers, photocopiers, multifunction devices, and related office hardware at client sites and in the service center. Day-to-day tasks include diagnosing hardware and software issues, performing repairs, replacing parts and consumables, and conducting preventive maintenance to minimize downtime. The role also involves responding to service requests, documenting work performed, advising clients on best practices for device usage, and coordinating with the team to ensure timely delivery of managed print services. The technician is expected to follow HP and company standards for quality, safety, and customer service while supporting government, enterprise, and SME customers. Qualifications • Candidates should possess strong technical skills in Printer Support, including troubleshooting, installation, configuration, and maintenance of printers and photocopiers. • Candidates should possess skills related to Print Production and Printing, with the ability to optimize device settings for efficiency, quality, and cost-effective output. • Candidates should possess operational skills in Bindery and finishing processes, supporting end-to-end document handling when required. • Candidates should possess practical experience with Inkjet technologies, including diagnostics, repair, and replacement of inkjet components and consumables. • Relevant vocational diploma or technical certification in electronics, IT hardware, or printer/copier maintenance is preferred. • Experience working with HP or similar enterprise print solutions and familiarity with managed print environments is an advantage. • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, service documentation, and manufacturer guidelines. • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and commitment to safety and quality standards. • Effective communication skills and customer-focused attitude, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Willing Show more Show less
