Senior - Accountants Payable & General Ledger

Responsibilities • Oversee hospital accounts payable and general ledger activities, ensuring accurate postings, reconciliations and timely payments. • Lead month-end and year-end closing, reviewing accruals, prepayments, provisions and balance sheet schedules. • Review supplier discrepancies, expenditure allocations and payment controls, coordinating with Procurement and departmental budget owners. • Prepare financial reports and audit schedules, supervise junior accountants and strengthen accounting procedures. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. • Minimum 6 years of accounting experience, including 3 years in a hospital or healthcare organization. • Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CA, CMA or equivalent. • Strong experience in financial closing, internal controls, ERP systems, Excel and supervision of accounting staff.
