Role Description The Steel Structure Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Al Khobar. The engineer will design and develop steel structures for prefabricated buildings and portable cabins, ensuring structural safety, durability, and compliance with relevant standards. Daily tasks include performing structural calculations and analysis, preparing and reviewing technical drawings using CAD software, and coordinating with civil engineers, project managers, and production teams. The role also involves inspecting and reviewing designs for constructability, supporting fabrication and installation teams with technical guidance, and contributing to continuous improvement of design processes and standards. The engineer will document design decisions, maintain accurate records, and collaborate to meet project timelines and quality requirements. Qualifications • Strong skills in Calculations and Structural Analysis, with the ability to assess loads, stresses, and overall structural performance. • Proficiency in Structural Engineering and Civil Engineering principles relevant to steel and prefabricated structures. • Ability to use Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software to create, modify, and review detailed structural drawings and models. • Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a closely related field. • Experience in steel structure design for prefabricated or modular buildings is highly beneficial. • Knowledge of applicable building codes, standards, and safety regulations. • Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams and site personnel. • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines Show more Show less
