🚨 WE ARE HIRING | SENIOR CIVIL DESIGN ENGINEER – SUBSTATION PROJECTS 📍 Location: Dubai, UAE 🏢 Company: POWERCHINA – Jiangxi Electric Power Construction Co., Ltd. 💼 Department: Engineering & Design Center ⚡ Industry: Power Transmission & Distribution | HV/EHV Substations We are urgently seeking an experienced Senior Civil Design Engineer with proven hands-on civil design experience in HV/EHV AIS/GIS substations for our Engineering & Design Center in Dubai. Key Responsibilities: • Perform civil engineering design for HV/EHV substations and power infrastructure projects. • Develop substation site layouts, grading plans, internal roads, paving, stormwater drainage and underground utilities. • Design and coordinate civil works for transformers, GIS/AIS equipment, switchgear buildings, control buildings, cable trenches and equipment foundations. • Prepare and review civil engineering drawings, technical calculations and design deliverables. • Coordinate with structural, electrical and other engineering disciplines. • Ensure compliance with project specifications, international standards and client requirements. Mandatory Requirements: ✅ Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline. ✅ Minimum 7 years of relevant civil design experience, including substantial HV/EHV substation design experience. ✅ Proven involvement in 132kV, 220kV or 400kV substation projects. ✅ Strong experience in substation site development, grading, drainage, roads and civil layouts. ✅ Proficiency in AutoCAD; Civil 3D experience is highly desirable. ✅ Experience working with engineering design consultants or EPC engineering teams. ✅ GCC/UAE project experience preferred. ⚠️ IMPORTANT: This is an engineering DESIGN position, not a site construction or supervision role.
