Presales Engineer - Software Development

Role Summary: We're seeking a Presales Solution Architect to analyze RFPs/RFQs, design software solutions (architecture, APIs, integrations, cloud), estimate effort and scope for pricing, and prepare technical proposals. Strong presales and solution design experience required. Key Responsibilities: • Analyze RFPs, RFQs, and technical requirements with a focus on software development. • Design end-to-end software solutions, including architecture, integrations, APIs, data flows, and deployment models. • Define software architectures and ensure alignment with performance, scalability, security, and availability requirements. • Estimate development effort, timelines, resources, and dependencies. • Support pricing by defining development scope, assumptions, and exclusions. • Identify risks, scope gaps, and technical constraints during the presales cycle. • Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Security & Compliance, and Operations teams. • Prepare technical proposals and RFP responses. • Document architecture, scope, assumptions, risks, and dependencies. • Ensure a smooth handover from presales to delivery teams. Qualifications: • Strong experience in software development presales and solution design. • Strong understanding of software architecture, APIs, integrations, and cloud technologies. • Experience in RFP/RFQ analysis, technical proposals, and effort estimation.
