About the Role -A leading and well-established organisation in the UAE is seeking an experienced People Operations & Employee Experience Manager to join its growing People & Culture function. -This is a broad, hands-on role responsible for delivering a high-quality employee experience across the full employment lifecycle. The successful candidate will oversee key areas including onboarding, employee engagement, employee relations, HR operations, immigration and benefits administration, while using workforce data and insights to identify opportunities for improvement. -The role will work closely with employees, managers and senior stakeholders across the organisation and will suit someone who combines strong HR operational expertise with a genuine focus on employee experience and culture. Key Responsibilities -Own and continuously improve the end-to-end employee journey, from pre-joining through onboarding, development, internal movement and exit. -Develop and coordinate structured onboarding and induction programmes that ensure new employees are effectively integrated into the organisation. -Partner with hiring managers to establish clear onboarding plans, expectations and probation milestones. -Gather feedback from new and existing employees and use insights to enhance the employee experience. -Develop and deliver initiatives focused on employee engagement, recognition, wellbeing, culture and retention. -Coordinate employee listening activities, including engagement surveys and feedback mechanisms, translating findings into actionable initiatives. -Support internal people communications, employee events and programmes designed to strengthen organisational connection and culture. -Provide guidance to employees and managers on HR policies, workplace issues and employee -relations matters. -Manage employee relations cases, including grievances, investigations, disciplinary processes and conflict resolution, ensuring appropriate confidentiality and consistency. -Oversee key employee lifecycle processes including promotions, transfers, confirmations, reporting-line changes and departures. -Maintain accurate employee records, HR documentation and HRIS data. -Ensure HR policies and procedures are implemented consistently across the organisation. -Oversee UAE visa, residency, work permit and immigration processes, including renewals, amendments and cancellations. -Manage employee health insurance administration, including enrolments, renewals, additions, deletions and employee queries. -Maintain appropriate compliance trackers and ensure critical documentation and permits are managed proactively. -Liaise with relevant authorities, insurance providers and external partners to ensure timely processing of employee requirements. -Develop and maintain people dashboards and reporting covering areas such as headcount, turnover, retention, absenteeism, onboarding, engagement and employee relations. -Analyse workforce information to identify trends, risks and opportunities and provide meaningful insights to management. -Identify opportunities to streamline HR processes through technology, automation and improved workflows. -Lead or contribute to HR projects designed to improve operational efficiency and employee experience. -Review and enhance HR processes, templates, systems and service standards to create a more efficient and consistent employee journey. About You -The successful candidate will ideally have: -A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or a related discipline. -7+ years of progressive HR experience, with strong exposure across people operations, employee experience and employee relations. -Demonstrable experience managing employee lifecycle processes within a complex or fast-paced organisation. -Strong knowledge of UAE employment, immigration, visa, work permit and health insurance processes. -Experience delivering employee engagement, culture or recognition initiatives. -Strong capability in managing sensitive employee relations matters with discretion and sound judgement. -Experience working with HR systems and producing meaningful workforce reports and dashboards. -Previous experience within a multi-entity, regional or international organisation would be advantageous. -Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across all levels of an organisation. -A highly organised and solutions-focused approach, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities. -A genuine interest in improving employee experience and creating efficient, employee-focused HR services.
