Technical Project Manager (Niagara,BMS)

About the Role Technical Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, executing, and delivering IoT and Niagara-based BMS projects, ensuring they meet client requirements, quality standards, budget, and schedule. This role involves leading cross-functional teams, managing integrations between IoT devices and Niagara systems, and maintaining strong client and stakeholder relationship Responsibilies • Conduct project initiation, requirements gathering, and scope definition for IoT and Niagara-based solutions • Prepare project plans, timelines, budgets, and allocate resources effectively • Manage integration of IoT platforms, devices, and Niagara Framework into existing infrastructure • Oversee installation, programming, and commissioning of Niagara-based BMS and IoT systems • Coordinate with design, engineering, and field teams for project execution • Conduct system testing and ensure compliance with functional and performance requirements • Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including system diagrams, configuration details, and user guides • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies • Facilitate training sessions and handover to client operations teams • Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality standards • Serve as the main point of contact between clients, vendors, and internal teams for IoT and Niagara projects • Ensure project deliverables align with technical specifications and business objectives • Track project costs, monitor budgets, and ensure financial targets are met • Manage procurement and logistics for equipment, software, and services • Promote effective communication across all project stakeholders • Drive client satisfaction and maintain strong professional relationships • Conduct project close-out reviews and document lessons learned • Foster a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement within the team Qualifications • 5+ years of project management experience, with at least 2 years hand on experience in IoT and Niagara-based BMS projects • Strong understanding of Niagara Framework (Niagara 4 preferred) and building automation protocols (BACnet, Modbus, LON) • Knowledge of IoT architectures, communication protocols (MQTT, REST APIs), and integration with cloud platforms (AWS IoT, Azure IoT, etc.) • Familiarity with HVAC control principles, lighting systems, and energy management solutions • Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, Jira, Trello, or equivalent) • Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English for both technical and non-technical audiences Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines • Working knowledge of MS Office (Word / Excel / PowerPoint) • Strong coordination skills to work with third-party teams, ensuring smooth collaboration and timely completion of project deliverables • BE/BTech in Electrical / Electronics / Computer / Mechanical Engineering or related field • Niagara Certification (N4 TCP or equivalent) an advantage • IoT-related certifications (AWS IoT, Azure IoT, or similar) an advantage You may also register your profile through our website and apply here: https://nadia-me.com/j ob/details/516 Show more Show less
