ELV Engineer - Data Centre

Your impact Jacobs is seeking an experienced ICT/ELV Engineer to support the construction supervision of Hyperscale Data Center projects across the Middle East. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the installation, integration, testing, and commissioning of ICT, telecommunications, and low-current systems supporting mission-critical operations. Key Responsibilities • Supervise ICT and telecommunications construction activities and ensure compliance with project specifications and standards. • Review contractor submissions, technical designs, shop drawings, testing procedures, and material submittals. • Monitor installation and testing of structured cabling, fiber optic networks, telecommunications systems, LAN/WAN networks, data hall connectivity infrastructure, and network equipment rooms. • Oversee implementation of DCIM systems, BMS interfaces, CCTV systems, access control systems, public address systems, and security infrastructure. • Coordinate ICT interfaces with electrical, mechanical, commissioning, and operational teams. • Support FAT, SAT, integrated systems testing, commissioning, and operational acceptance procedures. • Ensure all ICT systems are installed and documented in accordance with project requirements. Here's what you'll need Qualifications & Experience Requirements • Bachelor's Degree in Telecommunications Engineering, ICT Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field. • BICSI RCDD, CCNA, CCNP, Data Center certifications, or equivalent qualifications preferred. • Minimum 8-10 years of ICT engineering experience. • Minimum 3-5 years of direct experience on Hyperscale Data Centers, Tier III/Tier IV Data Centers, or Mission-Critical Facilities. • Experience with structured cabling systems, fiber optic networks, security systems, data center connectivity infrastructure, DCIM, and integrated low-current systems. • Experience supporting ICT testing, integration, and commissioning activities. • Strong knowledge of ANSI/TIA, BICSI, IEC, ISO, and data center industry standards.
