Site Engineer – Fit-Out Construction (6-month contract extendable)

Job Title: Site Engineer – Fit-Out Construction Industry: Interior construction Location: Dubai, UAE Employment Type: 6-month contract (Extendable) Salary: AED 14,000/month Benefits: Employment visa, Medical Insurance, Annual Flight Tickets, Annual leaves Experience: 3-5 years Responsibilities • Awareness of the Company Work Values, Quality Policy Statement, HSE Policy Statement, and all safety-related aspects. • Ensure progress of work is achieved through safety standards and quality requirements. • Adhere to site rules and regulations. • Maintain and update the blue book for the HSE team to verify. • Adhere to the daily plan and allocate work to the labour force as per the line manager’s instructions. • Monitor the setting out carried out at the site by the labour and ensure that works are carried out accurately, and relay layout information for discrepancies found, if any, at the site and sort out such issues by escalating to the line manager. • Maintain the site labour output register to evaluate performance or productivity of the workforce. • Take roll call and maintain the site labour time sheets with overtime allocated. • Provide advance information to the line manager regarding resource requirements for smooth execution of work and raise resource requests in a timely manner to ensure resource availability. • Report to the line manager on the site progress and issues being faced at site. • Coordinate with stores for receipt/handling of materials. • Maintain records of all materials received at the site and returned from the site. • Ensure that all tools and plant at the site are maintained in an orderly manner and highlight immediately to the stores for damages found, if any. • Awareness and effective handling of internal and external client complaints. • Ensure effective communication with all internal divisions and external subcontractors. • Ensure effective communication with the line manager regarding any issues, resource requirements, and progress of work at site. • Ensure that the labourers are trained on the latest methods for installations and applications at the site as advised by the line manager. • Ensure through proper supervision that the quality of material and installation of work is in accordance with specifications/requirements. For any special requirements, escalate it to the line manager. • Advise labourers on minimising wastage and proper handling of tools/equipment in an operational manner. • Ensure awareness and necessary execution towards attaining “Zero‐Snags”. Requirements • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field. • 3–5 years of relevant site supervision experience. • Experience in construction, fit-out, interiors, or related site operations is preferred. • Strong understanding of site safety, quality, labour supervision, and material coordination.
