Engagement details: • Job Title: Growth and Program Manager • Client: Global Cards & Payments Firm • End-client: Leading Financial Services Firm • Employment type: Initial 6-month contract with strong potential for extension to 12 months. • Location: Onsite in Riyadh • Experience level: 4-5 years *Saudi remittance market experience preffered Role Overview: Our client, a global leader in the Cards & Payments industry, is engaged with a leading financial services firm in Riyadh and is seeking to onboard a Growth and Program Manager for its remittances business. The consultant will act as a strategic advisor and trusted partner, supporting the execution of initiatives designed to grow remittance transaction volumes, strengthen digital remittance capabilities, expand strategic partnerships, and deliver high-impact business projects. The role will focus on translating commercial priorities into measurable outcomes across customer acquisition, activation, retention, usage, and overall remittance performance. The ideal consultant will bring strong experience in remittances, cross-border payments, fintech, banking, or money transfer operations, along with a sound understanding of remittance business models, aggregators, correspondent partners, and digital customer journeys. Key Responsibilities: Remittance Business Growth • Support the development and execution of initiatives to increase remittance transaction volumes. • Identify opportunities to improve customer acquisition, activation, retention, and usage. • Analyze remittance performance trends and recommend actions to improve business outcomes. • Support the optimization of existing remittance products and services. Project & Program Management • Lead the execution of strategic remittance projects from initiation through implementation. • Develop and maintain project plans, status reports, risk logs, and governance materials. • Coordinate activities across business, product, technology, operations, compliance, and partner teams. • Ensure timely delivery of agreed milestones and business objectives. • Partner Management • Act as a key liaison between the financial services firm,scheme, MTOs, aggregators, correspondent partners, and fintech partners. • Coordinate onboarding and implementation activities with external partners. • Support commercial and operational discussions to strengthen existing relationships and unlock new opportunities. • Digital Remittance Enhancement • Support initiatives to grow adoption of digital remittance channels. • Identify opportunities to improve customer experience across digital journeys • Assist in the launch of new corridors, partnerships, and value-added remittance services. • Market Intelligence • Monitor developments in the Saudi and international remittance landscape. • Track competitor activity, emerging customer needs, and market trends. • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to management. Requirements: • 4-5 years of experience in remittance, payments, cross-border transfers, fintech, or banking. • Demonstrated experience managing business transformation or strategic initiatives. • Strong understanding of remittance business models, MTOs, aggregators, and digital remittance journeys. • Experience working with multiple stakeholders and external partners. • Strong project and program management capabilities. • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities. • Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment. • Strong presentation and executive communication skills. • Experience in the Saudi remittance market. • Experience working with banks, exchange houses, fintechs, or money transfer operators. • Arabic and English language proficiency.
