We are seeking a qualified Finance Analyst for a fixed term contract (one month) to support the collation, organisation, and reconciliation of financial records for forensic accounting purposes. The role involves tracing financial figures to supporting documentation, identifying missing or unverified records, and maintaining accurate document trails. Roles & Responsibility • Audited financial statements, trial balances and management accounts for the relevant years. • Fixed asset register entries, purchase invoices, shipping and import records for assets at the Site, and any valuations or values declared to insurers. • The end-client contract for the Site, ramp-up schedules, price lists, invoices, occupancy records and receipts. • Operating cost records for the Site, including payroll, supplies, security and subcontractors. • Banking and financing records: facility letters, cash-margin and security requirements, loan note documents, and interest and fee statements. • Bank records of all payments received through the broker, premium payments made, and any other recoveries or salvage. • Invoices for professional fees and records of staff time spent on the claim • Build a secure, structured data room in the format agreed with the Forensic Accountants. • Maintain a master index recording, for each document: reference number, date, author, description, source system or location, and the loss head it relates to. • Keep documents in their original native format with metadata intact. • Produce schedules tying each figure in the Company’s existing loss schedules to source documents, bank statements and the audited accounts. • Maintain a gap log of missing, incomplete or inconsistent records, with notes on where else they might be found. • Maintain a query log of questions from the Forensic Accountants and the answers and documents provided.
