Procurement Transformation Consultant

Responsibilities: • Lead procurement transformation initiatives focused on strategic sourcing, category management, procurement planning, and value creation across key procurement categories. • Develop and implement annual procurement plans and execute end-to-end strategic sourcing programmes aligned with the approved procurement roadmap. • Develop category strategies for horizontal and vertical categories, including alternative procurement channels such as catalogues and other digital procurement solutions. • Establish supplier management and performance frameworks to improve supplier value, quality, service levels, and overall supplier ecosystem performance. • Identify and implement initiatives to increase local content and MSME participation, including localization mechanisms and supplier development programmes. • Develop and implement customer-centric procurement models, including stakeholder account management, customer satisfaction measurement, and assisted procurement services. • Conduct procurement maturity assessments and develop procurement capability-building programmes, standardized tools, templates, processes, and governance frameworks. • Partner with senior stakeholders across government entities and business functions to drive procurement excellence, process improvement, change management, and measurable transformation outcomes.
