About the Job An exciting opportunity has arisen for Assistant Recreation Manager to join Jumeirah Saadiyat Island. The main duties and responsibilities of this role include: • Assist the Manager in the overall management of sports and leisure facilities, including staffing, programming, and facility maintenance. • Supervise and train staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure they deliver high-quality service and adhere to operational standards. • Foster positive relationships with guests and members, addressing inquiries, feedback, and complaints in a timely and professional manner. • Collaborate with the Manager to develop and implement innovative sports and recreational programs and events that meet the needs and interests of the community. • Oversee the maintenance and cleanliness of facilities, ensuring they meet health, safety, and aesthetic standards. • Assist in budget planning and management, monitoring expenses and revenue streams to optimize financial performance. • Support marketing efforts to promote sports and leisure programs and events, utilizing various channels to attract participants and increase revenue. • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, conducting regular inspections and implementing corrective measures as needed. About You The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications: • A bachelor’s degree in Sports Management or any other relevant field. • 3 – 5 years of experience in recreation or leisure operations within luxury hospitality.
