Role Overview: The Technical Sales Manager (TSM) will be responsible for managing key partner accounts, driving sales growth and product specification across the Middle East. This senior role will focus on strengthening relationships with existing partners and clients, acquiring new customers, and collaborating closely with architects, specifiers, and contractors to ensure ClearVue products are specified at the design and tender stages of projects. The TSM will work as part of the global Business Development (BD) Team, they will be allocated a territory/geographic area to cover. From time to time they will be required to cover other areas as part of the team role. Key Responsibilities: Business Development & Sales • Manage existing partners accounts, providing technical support, • Bid management and oversight, increase sales volumes. • Manage and grow new partnerships, following the partnership selection process of the business. • Proactively identify and acquire new business opportunities • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve agreed targets. • Maintain strong knowledge of the ClearVue product range and advise customers accordingly. • Providing continued professional development (CPD) to partners, including training, auditing and the application of innovation and best practise processes. Specification & Technical Engagement • Build strong relationships with partners, architects, designers, specifiers, and contractors. • Promote and present ClearVue product range in CPD sessions, presentations, and technical meetings. • Secure specification of ClearVue products in new building and renovation projects at early design stages. • Track and manage pipeline to ensure projects convert into product sales. Territory Management • Ensure consistent coverage of your allocated territory, planning and prioritising travel and customer visits. • Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities across your territory. • Provide cover to other territories as and when required by the BD Team. Collaboration & Reporting • Work closely with internal teams including marketing, research & development, operations and others. • Provide market feedback to inform product development and marketing strategies. • Maintain accurate CRM records, sales reports, and forecasting data. Required Skills & Experience: The TSM should have: • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a technical sales role in glass industry. • Proven track record of business development and account management. • Experience working with architects and influencing specification decisions. • Strong understanding of the construction, facades and specification process. • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills. • Ability to work independently and manage a territory effectively. • Full clean driving licence and willingness to travel extensively. • Demonstrate proficiency in spoken and written English. Desirable Qualifications: The TSM should have: • Recognised diploma or bachelor’s degree required from an accredited institution required. • Background in glass manufacture, architecture, engineering, construction, or a related technical field. • Other professional accreditation or membership. • Knowledge of glass, facades systems, and building integrated photovoltaics. • Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce or similar).
