Construction Manager

Rakhat Construction is seeking an experienced Construction Manager with strong construction or contractor experience to oversee project execution, site operations, and delivery. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering. • Minimum of 15 years of experience in construction contracting. • Extensive experience managing construction projects. • Strong knowledge of construction regulations, standards, and authority requirements. • Proven experience leading site teams, subcontractors, consultants, and suppliers. • Strong understanding of construction methods, project planning, quality control, and health and safety requirements. • Excellent leadership, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills. • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver projects on schedule and within budget. Key Responsibilities • Manage construction activities from mobilization through completion and handover. • Plan and monitor project schedules, manpower, materials, equipment, and resources. • Supervise site teams and coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and authorities. • Review drawings, specifications, method statements, and construction programs. • Monitor project progress, quality, costs, and compliance with approved plans. • Ensure all works comply with regulations, approved designs, safety standards, and quality requirements. • Identify and resolve technical, operational, and site-related issues promptly. • Conduct progress meetings and provide regular updates to senior management. • Review subcontractor performance and ensure timely execution of works. • Coordinate inspections, testing, commissioning, snagging, and project handover. • Maintain proper project records, reports, and documentation.
