Rakhat Construction is seeking an experienced and qualified Site Engineer to oversee and manage site activities for building construction projects in Dubai. The successful candidate must hold a Civil Engineering degree, valid Dubai Municipality G+4 certification, and proven high-rise project experience. Key Responsibilities • Supervise daily civil, structural, and architectural construction activities in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and project schedules. • Ensure works are carried out in compliance with Dubai Municipality requirements, relevant building regulations, quality standards, and health and safety procedures. • Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, foremen, surveyors, and internal site teams. • Review IFC drawings, shop drawings, material submittals, and technical documents; identify discrepancies and coordinate solutions with the relevant parties. • Monitor site progress, manpower, materials, equipment, and subcontractor performance to support timely project completion. • Conduct quality inspections for excavation, shoring, foundation works, reinforcement, formwork, concrete works, blockwork, waterproofing, façade-related civil works, and finishes. • Coordinate site inspections with consultants and relevant authorities and ensure observations are closed within the required timeframe. • Prepare daily progress reports, site diaries, inspection requests, work records, material delivery records, and other project documentation. • Raise RFIs for design clarifications and report site issues, delays, variations, and quality concerns to the Project Manager. • Support work planning, sequencing, and allocation of manpower, materials, and equipment. • Ensure all site teams comply with approved safety requirements and use appropriate personal protective equipment. • Assist with snagging, handover, close-out documentation, and completion of outstanding works. Qualifications and Requirements • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering. • Valid Dubai Municipality G+4 Certification / Engineer Card is mandatory. • Minimum 3–5 years of UAE experience with a contracting company. • Proven experience in high-rise building projects is mandatory. • Experience in managing or supervising structural, civil, architectural, and finishing works for high-rise residential, commercial, or mixed-use developments. • Strong knowledge of high-rise construction methods, including foundation works, concrete frame structures, vertical transportation coordination, waterproofing, façade interfaces, and finishing works. • Good understanding of UAE construction practices, Dubai Municipality procedures, inspection requirements, and site safety standards. • Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings. • Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project reporting tools. • Strong communication, coordination, problem-solving, and leadership skills. • UAE driving licence is preferred. • Immediate joiners are preferred.
