Description We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager – Events with strong knowledge of the UAE market and an established network of clients across government, semi-government, corporate, and private sectors. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in business development and client acquisition within the events, exhibitions, advertising, or marketing industry. Key Responsibilities • Develop and execute business development strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets. • Identify and generate new business opportunities within the UAE market. • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and potential clients. • Leverage an existing client network across government, semi-government, corporate, and private sectors. • Generate leads, arrange client meetings, and convert prospects into business opportunities. • Prepare and deliver proposals, presentations, and commercial offers. • Negotiate contracts and close deals while achieving assigned sales targets and KPIs. • Maintain an active sales pipeline and provide regular business development reports. • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities within the UAE events industry. • Collaborate with account management, creative, and operations teams to ensure successful project delivery. Requirements • 5+ years of experience in Business Development / Sales within Events, Exhibitions, Advertising, or Marketing. • Strong and proven knowledge of the UAE market. • Existing and active client network is highly preferred. • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and KPIs. • Strong relationships with government, semi-government, corporate, and private sector clients. • Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and closing skills. • Strong understanding of the UAE events and business landscape. • Highly driven, results-oriented, and proactive personality. • Ability to independently generate leads and develop new business. • Must be currently based in Abu Dhabi or Dubai.
