Job Title: Administrative Officer/ Assistant Career Services Job Code : JPC 6399 Experience: 1 3 years Education: Bachelor s degree Language Skills: English Job Purpose The Administrative Officer/Assistant Career Services is responsible for providing day-to-day administrative and operational support to the Career Services function. Reporting to the Manager/Senior Manager Career Services, the role supports the planning and coordination of career development activities, workshops, internships, employer engagement, student placement activities, and career-related events. The position will also maintain accurate student and employer records, update the ERP and career management systems, and provide timely assistance to students throughout the internship and placement process. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, effective communication, and the ability to coordinate with students, faculty, employers, and internal departments. Qualifications And Experience Bachelor s degree in business administration, Human Resources, Education, Career Services, Management, or related field. 1 3 years of relevant experience in administration, student services, career services, academic operations, HR/recruitment support, or a similar role. Fresh graduates with strong administrative, coordination, and communication skills may also be considered. Experience in a higher education or student-facing environment is preferred. Strong organizational and administrative skills with excellent attention to detail. Good written and verbal communication skills in English. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Experience using ERP, student information systems, CRM, or other database/record management systems is desirable. Ability to coordinate multiple activities, maintain accurate records, and meet deadlines. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with students, faculty, employers, and colleagues. Ability to handle confidential student and institutional information with discretion. Knowledge of UAE higher education practices and employment/internship processes is an advantage.
