Civil Site Engineer

About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Civil Site Engineer to oversee day-to-day site activities and ensure that construction works are executed in line with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards. The successful candidate will be the primary technical point of contact on site, coordinating with contractors, consultants, and project management teams to keep works progressing safely, on schedule, and within budget. Key Responsibilities: - Supervise and monitor daily site construction activities to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and approved method statements - Set out works and verify levels, alignments, and dimensions on site - Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth execution of works - Inspect materials and workmanship to ensure compliance with project quality standards - Maintain accurate site records, daily reports, and progress documentation - Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations on site - Identify and report any deviations, delays, or technical issues to the Project Engineer/Manager - Support the preparation of as-built drawings and close-out documentation - Attend site meetings and coordinate with design consultants on technical queries Requirements & Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering - 3-6 years of experience in civil site engineering, preferably on building or infrastructure projects - Strong knowledge of civil construction methods, materials, and standards - Experience with site supervision, quality control, and HSE compliance - Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office; familiarity with site management software is a plus Key Skills: - Site supervision and coordination - Reading and interpreting construction drawings - Quality control and inspection - Problem-solving under site conditions - Strong communication and reporting skills Show more Show less
